Chelsea writes stories about navigating the unknown, finding your power, and choosing your people. She has worked as a writing tutor and bookseller, and her passion for prose continues to fuel her work today. 

She has her BA in Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach. She also co-hosts the Ignyte Award-winning Afronauts Podcast, which provides resources for writers and uplifts Black speculative fiction. 

Chelsea lives in Las Vegas with her partner and her cat, Luna. When she’s not writing, she enjoys getting lost in local bookstores and soaking up the sun. You can find her on social media @chelseagayden.
